Contract Struck! - Canadian Cowboys Pull Terms; XB360 Contract Terminated Prematurely

In an historic EASHL turn, the Canadian Cowboys have prematurely terminated the terms and conditions of their contract with XB360. Unfortunately, the EASHL and XB360 have seemingly tried to pull the wool over the Cowboys' eyes by creating a sort of 'carbon copy' version of contracts past.

"There's no way we're agreeing to this deal. After our lawyer Mr. Hendry looked over the terms a little more closely, it turns out nothing is different. Just a few bells and whistles to distract us from what matters - bringing a new game to our fans each and every year" commented captain Michael the Magic.

Sean Ramjagsingh has denied all allegations of making such attempts, and has refused to make contact with any EASHL reporters. No comments have been made on or off the record by "Rammer" to date.

Unfortunately, it would seem that the Canadian Cowboys will not have the 2014/2015 season so anticipated by players and fans alike.

"I'm going to kill myself" screamed a passionate fan, running with a toaster in hand.

The Canadian Cowboys have not entirely fled from the vision of their fans, as they have created a new team in the interim - Cowboys on Strike. The jerseys are nothing like they once were, however, the Cowboys will bring the same intensity to what seems to be a global uniting of EASHL teams - EASHL On Strike. A league of it's own, EASHLOS lives to bring hockey to the passionate fans to whom it caters.

Hopefully, the EASHL organizes a contract sufficient to bring new heat to the EASHL under the XB1 contract it once promised. For now, EASHLOS will be the only source of Cowboy hockey for the passionate fans of Canada.

On behalf of the EASHL, Sean Ramjagsingh, and the players of the Canadian Cowboys: we are sorry.

Regular season play continues Friday September 12, 2014 in the comfort of the Cowboys' 2014 arena.
